Hours | Schedule: Part-time, 40hrs per pay period (bi-weekly) 3p-11:30p Rotating weekends and holidays to be scheduled in accordance with CBA
Position Summary
The CT Technologist performs CT procedures on patients and completes related tasks to reflect CT services provided.
What The CT Technologist Will Do
- Greet patients and explain procedures.
- Answer questions and instruct patient during procedures.
- Perform CT scan and teach other staff procedures according to established protocol.
- Position patients for exam.
- Utilize positioning aids to assure precise view.
- Determine correct scanning protocol and exposure factor for exam.
- Maintain inventory and perform minor equipment repairs or adjustments.
- Recognize the need for equipment repairs and environment improvements and to submit work orders.
- Maintain patient logs and CTDI reporting.
What The CT Technologist Will Need
- Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or Society of Nuclear Medicine.
- PREFERRED: CT experience.
