Position Overview This role involves providing diagnostic Computed Tomography (CT) services to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients under the supervision of a radiologist. The technologist ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective imaging services in accordance with established protocols and clinical guidelines. Key Responsibilities Properly position patients, utilizing immobilization techniques and optimal scan protocols based on diagnosis and clinical information.Perform advanced imaging procedures including CT angiography, 3D, MIPS, VR, and vessel analysis, using reconstruction software.Follow workflow protocols: verify patient identity, acquire history, scan, send images to PACS, document, and bill accurately.Operate support equipment such as pressure injectors, PACS, and EPIC systems.Initiate IVs for contrast media, ensuring patient safety and screening for allergies.Prepare patients by explaining procedures and monitoring their condition throughout scans.Collaborate with radiologists to tailor protocols, document findings, and handle any adverse reactions or incidents.Maintain licensure, participate in ongoing education, and ensure compliance with safety and documentation standards. Qualifications & Skills Certification in CT (ARRT), radiologic licensure, and BLS certification.Completion of radiologic technology training or related educational background.Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle advanced imaging equipment.Excellent patient communication and safety awareness.
