About the role
At Peace Harbor Medical Center in Florence, Oregon, your day might begin with a CT exam that helps answer a critical clinical question and continue with diagnostic X-Ray support that keeps patient care moving smoothly throughout the hospital. You'll be relied upon not just for technical skill, but for judgment. You'll review histories, connect the clinical picture, adapt studies when patients need a different approach, collaborate with physicians, and educate patients who may be anxious about what comes next.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized CT imaging using a Siemens Somatom AS CT scanner
- Provide diagnostic X-Ray services as needed
- Integrate imaging history, lab results, medical records, and physician collaboration to ensure each patient receives the most appropriate examination
- Utilize both CT and X-Ray skills
- Maintain meaningful patient interaction
- Participate in quality-focused imaging practices
- Exercise clinical judgment and adaptability
Required Credentials & Licensure
- Accredited School of Radiologic Technology required
- ARRT-CT, ARRT-N, or ARRT-R acceptable upon hire
- Advanced CT Certification through ARRT (N) or ARRT (R) pathway required within one year of hire
- Registered with OBMIPermanent (OBMI) RT licensure with Permanent (OBMI) CT OR Temporary (OBMI) CT Licensure Certification required upon hire
- Permanent (OBMI) CT Licensure required within one year of hire or at expiration of final Temporary OBMI CT License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
Experience
- Minimum 1 year previous experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of age-specific patient care principles required
- Demonstrated venipuncture competency required
- PACS/RIS knowledge required
- EPIC RIS, FUJI and IntelliSpace PACS experience preferred
Pay
$49.16 – $69.41 per hour + 15% differential in lieu of benefits
Working Conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching and use of fine motor skills while operating medical equipment
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. frequently and up to 30 lbs. occasionally
- May involve patient handling, exposure to biohazards and airborne particles
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively with normal vision and hearing (with reasonable accommodations)
