CT Technologist

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Menorah Medical Center, part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

About the role

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients on CT table
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary
• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary
• Release customers with proper post-procedure instructions
• Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
• On-call required; must be able to report to the facility within 30 minutes of callback

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology
• ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT certification or registry-eligible required within 6 months of hire
• Current license with the Kansas Board of Healing Arts
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning
