Lake Huron Medical Center is a 139-bed community hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient health care services to residents of St. Clair and Sanilac counties. Services include emergency care, primary stroke center, cancer care, surgical services, physical therapy and rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, and specialized diabetes programs. Responsibilities

  • Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, or Special Procedures according to department protocols.
  • Functions as the first line interface with customers to accomplish their imaging needs.
  • Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities.
  • Assists in maintaining the Performance Improvement Program.
  • Oversees the radiology area and/or staff in the Manager's/Director's absence.
  • Maintains department supplies and equipment for assigned sub-departments.
  • Promotes teamwork and good customer service.
  • Handles scheduling for assigned sub-departments.
  • Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Requirements

  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  • Appropriate national certifications in two modalities required (effective July 1, 2017).
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
  • Familiarity with State and Federal regulations.
  • One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Employment Status: Per Diem. Shift: Variable.
