About the role
Performs computerized tomographic radiographs, reviews exams for clinical appropriateness, and prioritizes procedures while ensuring effective communication in critical situations. Supports new employee onboarding by documenting clinical competence and maintaining necessary credentials. May perform general radiology or lab testing as needed.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and evidence-based guidelines to manage imaging procedures.
- Educates and supports patients, creates a compassionate environment, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and care.
- Ensures safety protocols, conducts quality checks, and addresses safety concerns.
- Promotes patient education, professional growth, and adherence to protocols.
- Communicates effectively about operational or safety variances, supports organizational goals, and participates in quality initiatives.
Requirements
- ARRT certification.
- NM CT License or provisional license.
- Current BLS certification.
