Role Overview: The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience in a collaborative healthcare environment. They operate imaging equipment independently, capturing diagnostic images while maintaining safety protocols and minimizing radiation exposure. Key Responsibilities Perform CT procedures according to departmental guidelines, ensuring diagnostic image quality.Maintain equipment, clean rooms, and report issues promptly.Obtain patient history, verify orders, and address contraindications.Explain procedures using AIDET, ensuring patient comfort and safety.Administer contrast, position patients, and apply safety measures.Review and finalize images, documenting accurately in RIS/PACS.Respond to emergencies, monitor patient condition, and maintain safety equipment.Organize workflows and support department operations, compliance, and documentation. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.Minimum one year of radiology experience.Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (American Heart Association).
