The CT Technologist plays a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at a medical center. They perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, operate imaging equipment independently, and ensure diagnostic accuracy while minimizing patient radiation exposure. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, obtaining clinical history, explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, administering contrast, positioning patients, reviewing images, and completing accurate documentation in RIS/PACS systems. Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 1 year of radiology experience, and certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.
