CT Tech PRN

Responsibilities

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meetings to radiology needs of patients.
• Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning according to the order.
• Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.
• Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence in troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
• Previous CT experience preferred.
• CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred.
• Maintains active registry status.
• Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification.
