Job Summary
Performs technical procedures using ionizing radiation and computerized axial tomography principles to detect pathology. Regulates equipment used to produce and process images. Assists in the daily operation of the CT and Radiology department. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff.
Qualifications
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)
- Approved BLS per policy
- Training in an accredited program or school of Radiologic Technology with a Certificate, AS, or BS
- Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), or CPR
- Radiography must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
