About the role
Leads and manages the CT imaging department, collaborating with staff, developing goals, and ensuring quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Supervises staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develops and maintains departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Performs diagnostic CT procedures as ordered, explaining procedures to patients.
- Coordinates records maintenance for compliance with accreditation, quality assurance, and legal requirements.
- Assists in budget development and resource management.
- Assumes management duties in the absence of the manager, including hiring, training, and resolving staff issues.
- Ensures departmental adherence to safety laws, regulations, and standards such as OSHA, CMS, and The Joint Commission.
Qualifications & Skills
- ARRT CT registration and Radiography certification.
- 1-3 years of CT experience or training.
- Strong communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
- Ability to interpret policies and maintain clinical competency.
- Visual acuity and effective communication abilities.

- Oversee daily operations, ensure compliance, provide staff development, perform CT exams, and uphold quality standards to deliver excellent patient care in a collaborative environment.
