CT Scan Technologist Lead

About the Role

Responsible for leading daily operations in the Imaging CT department, ensuring quality imaging, patient care, and workflow efficiency. Oversees equipment maintenance, quality control, and compliance with regulatory standards. Performs staff orientation, training, coaching, and contributes to performance evaluations. Positions patients accurately and selects appropriate technical parameters. Ensures timely submission of high-quality images and documentation to PACS. Maintains a clean, safe, and organized department environment. Acts as a CT Technologist and supports other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality patient care and imaging accuracy.
• Monitor workflow, documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform staff training, coaching, and provide input for performance evaluations.
• Maintain department safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Support technical operations and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Perform CT procedures and assist in other departmental duties.

Requirements

• Completion of a Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy program with CT credential.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting, quality control, and patient positioning.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• State-specific professional licenses and certifications including BLS, ARRT credentials, and applicable state licenses.
