Job Summary and Qualifications

• Obtains quality CT images.
• Demonstrates competence in following established scanning protocols and exercises ability to adjust protocols as required.
• Complies with radiation safety guidelines.
• Operates CT equipment safely.
• Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operations to ensure proper examination documentation and charges.
• Records pertinent data on CT requisition at all times.
• Renders patient care in professional and courteous manner.
• Prepares CT scanner and perform quality control tests.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and maintains room cleanliness and neat appearance.

About the Role

The Lead CT Technologist plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. They are responsible for operating and maintaining CT equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and providing comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Obtains quality CT images.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT (CT) Registered - must obtain within 6 months of hire or start in position.
• Three year experience as Radiologic Technologist.
• Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent with appropriate National Registry(ies).

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT (CT) Registered - must obtain within 6 months of hire or start in position.
• Three year experience as Radiologic Technologist.
• Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent with appropriate National Registry(ies).

Skills

• Knowledge of CT scanning protocols and procedures.
• Ability to operate and maintain CT equipment safely.
• Proficiency in computer operations for examination documentation and charges.
