Job Summary and Qualifications
- Obtains quality CT images.
- Demonstrates competence in following established scanning protocols and exercises ability to adjust protocols as required.
- Complies with radiation safety guidelines.
- Operates CT equipment safely.
- Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operations to ensure proper examination documentation and charges.
- Records pertinent data on CT requisition at all times.
- Renders patient care in professional and courteous manner.
- Prepares CT scanner and perform quality control tests.
- Maintains inventory of supplies and maintains room cleanliness and neat appearance.

Responsibilities
- Obtains quality CT images.

Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- ARRT (CT) Registered - must obtain within 6 months of hire or start in position.
- Three year experience as Radiologic Technologist.
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent with appropriate National Registry(ies).
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- ARRT (CT) Registered - must obtain within 6 months of hire or start in position.
- Three year experience as Radiologic Technologist.
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent with appropriate National Registry(ies).
Skills
- Knowledge of CT scanning protocols and procedures.
- Ability to operate and maintain CT equipment safely.
