Overview
Perform computerized axial tomography procedures adhering to standards, reviewing consultation requests, obtaining patient history, ensuring billing accuracy, and documenting scans.
Responsibilities
- Greet and explain procedures to patients
- Provide radiation safety
- Evaluate scan quality
- Assist with CT-guided procedures
- Prepare contrast media
- Maintain equipment logs
- Demonstrate proficiency with radiology software
Qualifications
- Preferably one year of CT experience
- ARRT-CT certification
- BLS certification
- An associate degree
