Job Summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a CT Scan Tech / Radiology (R) for a contract position in Carlsbad, NM.

About the Role

This role requires 2+ years of experience and ARRT CT certification. Experience with CT and X-ray is also required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic C-T examinations as prescribed by the referring physician.
• Provide diagnostic quality radiographs for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Offer C-T care to patients for diagnostic purposes.
• Provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under Radiologist and departmental protocols.
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Execute routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures such as CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Show proficiency in CT scanning techniques including contrast media and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Process CT system and manage surgical/sterile procedures.

Requirements

Must be licensed by the state as a general radiographer.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).

Skills

Proficiency in CT scanning, knowledge of CT system processing, and understanding of surgical/sterile procedures.
