About the Role
Performs computerized tomographic (CT) procedures to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries, following radiologists' protocols.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and positions patients accurately, selects appropriate technical parameters.
- Administers contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
- Monitors patient during procedures, reports abnormalities, and follows safety guidelines.
- Works safely with radiation protocols.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of Radiology Technology or related program.
- No prior experience required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Certifications: ARRT-R or equivalent, BLS-HCP, and ARRT-CT or similar credentials as per state requirements.
- Strong attention to safety, patient care, and technical proficiency.
Schedule
PRN/as needed shifts.
Pay
Pay starting at $34/hour, including shift differentials for night and weekend shifts.
