CT Clinical Preceptor Instructor Technologist

About the role

Full-Time CT Clinical Instructor and Advanced Modality Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including advanced modalities such as CT, MRI, and others, on adult and pediatric patients. The role involves training and supervising students and new staff, ensuring compliance with safety and hospital protocols, maintaining accurate records, performing CT exams independently, assisting with clinical education, and promoting hands-on learning and professional development. The position also promotes professional growth and supports onboarding of new technologists, and requires working in a safety-sensitive environment while maintaining alertness.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients and equipment
• Performing studies
• Training staff and students
• Collaborating with program directors
• Contributing to training material updates

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency
• Certification as a Registered Technologist (R.T.(R)) and/or in CT
• 2‑5 years of CT experience (preferred 5‑10 years)
• Licenses such as R.T.(R), CT, MR, etc., depending on certification

Skills

• Experience in clinical education, precepting, and advanced imaging modalities
• Ability to work safely, independently, and as part of a team

Schedule
