About the role

At Kirby Risk Electrical Supply, our Customer Service Representatives work directly with customers, vendors, and teammates to ensure orders are accurate, products are available when needed, and customers receive the support they expect.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive customer service by phone, email, at the counter, and through order processing
• Partner with outside sales representatives to support customer accounts and identify solutions
• Cook with vendors to help ensure products are delivered accurately and on schedule
• Aid with product promotions, training opportunities, and other branch initiatives
• Support daily branch operations, including:
• Counter and Inside Sales
• Warehousing and Inventory Management
• Vendor and Customer Communications
• Order Entry and Product Support

Requirements

• College coursework and/or 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Solid organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to learn new products, systems, and processes
• Experience in business-to-business sales or electrical distribution preferred

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license required
• Experience with multi-line phone systems and warehouse operations
• Experience with inventory management and loading/unloading shipments
• Forklift experience a plus

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., with overtime as needed
