Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance duties as assigned
- Maintain inside and outside of all housing units to ensure good and livable conditions
- Grounds cleanup, maintaining and installing landscape, painting inside and outside of houses/apartments/condos, furniture moves, and repairs
- Replaces all batteries in Thermostats, Facets, Toilets and other devices
- Maintain their designated fleet vehicle to Terros Standard
- Completes safety inspections, using a checklist which includes identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions
- Performs routine inspections of fire extinguishers, smoke detectors and other related items
- Coordinates HVAC repairs with vendors
- Monitors and inspects fire extinguishers and coordinates repairs
- Replace electrical cords as needed and ensure that replacement cords are working properly. If necessary, initiate vendor procurement for more complicated installation and troubleshooting
- Monitor and check site trash collection and disposal, repair and replace containers with the City of Phoenix
- Assist Facilities Housing Tech II with tasks
- Assist Commercial/Residential Facilities manager in office moves and other projects
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Arizona driver’s license
- Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license
- Must maintain their designated fleet vehicle to Terros Standard
