CSO Staffing Coordinator

Additional Information About The Role
This position is full-time and benefits eligible. It operates on a night shift from 1830 to 0700, every 6th weekend rotation, and includes a holiday rotation. The role is located at BJC at the Commons.
Role Purpose
The CSO Staffing Coordinator facilitates balanced staffing across hospitals, collaborating with the BJC Transfer Center and HSO nursing offices to ensure adequate staff for capacity demands. This role also assists with patient care operations and clinical onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Manages staffing shift by shift in conjunction with the RN Staffer/Supervisor
- Facilitates the delivery of safe and appropriate staffing across the system
- Effectively responds to special circumstances and collaborates with the RN Staffer and HSO nursing offices
- Aids in patient care operations and integration of services between hospitals
- Provides guidance for balancing schedules and proactively staffing open shifts
- Functions as a liaison between the Transfer Center and all hospitals and customers
- Assists with clinical on-boarding of CSO staff, manages MYTIME, and monitors staff compliance of competencies
- Maintains staffing to volume or designated workload
- Supports the productivity and actions of the group to meet/support the overall operational goals of the department
Minimum Requirements
- Associate's Degree
- Preferred: 2-5 years supervisor experience
