CS Learning Assistant - Summer Student Employment

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Attend class as designated by the instructor of the course.
• Assist students with various academic skills and course content.
• Answer questions, facilitate discussion, and assist the instructor of the course.
• Perform additional administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
• MUST BE FEDERAL WORK STUDY ELIGIBLE
• INCLUDE A RESUME AND COVER LETTER
• MUST BE ENROLLED AS A SXU STUDENT
• MUST HAVE AN A IN COMPUTER SCIENCE CLASS IN WHICH YOU WANT TO TUTOR
• MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE ALL STAFF DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
• EXHIBIT APPROPRIATE AND PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR AT ALL TIMES
• BE FRIENDLY AND ENJOY WORKING WITH PEOPLE

Description Of Hours

• Up to 5 hours per week
