About the role
The Crushing Operations Team at Ames Construction is seeking experienced professionals to support the production of aggregates for large-scale civil construction projects. This position involves supervising a team and ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily tasks of operators, mechanics, and laborers
- Conduct safety meetings and inspections
- Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation
- Monitor production quality and output
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ crushing or heavy equipment experience
- Ability to lead a crew and prioritize tasks
- Strong commitment to safety

- Ability to work in outdoor, heavy civil construction environments
- Reliable transportation and ability to work extended or variable hours
- Able to lift and carry heavy materials as needed
