About the role

Ames Construction is a leading heavy civil construction company seeking qualified, safety-driven professionals to join our Crushing Operations Team. These positions support the production of aggregates used in large-scale civil construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily tasks of operators, mechanics, and laborers
• Conduct safety meetings and inspections
• Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation
• Monitor production quality and output

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ crushing or heavy equipment experience
• Ability to lead a crew and prioritize tasks
• Strong commitment to safety

• Ability to work in outdoor, heavy civil construction environments
• Reliable transportation and ability to work extended or variable hours
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials as needed
• Team‑oriented attitude and strong communication skills
