Primary Responsibilities
- Crushing Equipment Lifecycle Support: Properly prepare for jobs by reviewing scopes of work, parts, and tools. Service, commission, troubleshoot, and repair crushing equipment, managing warranty work, annual inspections, and emergency calls.
- Remote Technical Support & Call Management: Serve as a primary technical resource by answering customer service center calls. Troubleshoot, define, and resolve complex issues over the phone, and seamlessly escalate unsolved issues to the appropriate internal staff.
- Documentation & Continuous Quality Improvement: Maintain accurate field reports and log detailed, chronological notes into the CRM software. Launch internal quality cases to establish long-term solutions, communicating root causes, corrective actions, and product improvements back to engineering and product management.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain safe work habits on-site, strictly enforce safety rules, and keep all required MSHA certifications and training up to date.
- Relationship Building & Training: Foster strong internal relationships with engineering, operations, and sales to ensure excellent internal customer service. Train dealers, clients, and teammates on an as-needed basis to ensure a seamless, high-quality customer experience.
- Travel, Logistics & Communication: Travel up to 75% domestically (with potential international travel). Efficiently manage your schedule independently, communicate transparently with the Field Service Manager to maintain a healthy work-to-home life ratio, and report tool or repair needs promptly.
Core Qualifications & Key Competencies
- Technical & Mechanical Mastery: Diagnostics & Repair: Exceptional mechanical aptitude with a proven track record in complex troubleshooting and hands-on machinery repair. Electronics & Systems: Proficient in electronic diagnostics combined with strong computing skills for modern equipment software. Technical Blueprinting: Skilled in reading, analyzing, and applying complex electro-mechanical schematics and system diagrams.
- Heavy Equipment Comfort: Highly confident operating in, on, and around industrial-grade heavy machinery.
- Sector & Application Experience: Processing Equipment: Direct, practical experience in the heavy industrial sector; hands-on familiarity with crushing, screening, conveying, and washing systems is strongly preferred.

Prerequisites & Credentials
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; specialized trade or technical school background strongly favored.
- Driver’s License: Active, valid State Driver’s License required.
Compensation
The starting pay range for this position is $25.00 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
