Cross Utilized Supervisor
About the role
This role directs the work of ramp agents as they unload and load the cargo bin on commercial aircraft. It also involves driving and operating small specialized commercial vehicles, supervising lead agents, and providing day-to-day work direction to passenger service representatives.
Responsibilities
- Performs new employee introduction to work area, explains work rules, uniform policy, time clock process, office-terminal procedures, and provides an overview of department operations.
- Trains employees on specifics or assigns employees to work with an experienced representative.
- Ensures that employees are fully trained on company policies and procedures including telephone procedures, cash handling, security procedures, and systems.
- Promptly handles all customer service complaints with a focus on positive resolution.
- Supervise Lead Agents; allocating agent resources as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to supervise up to 10-15 agents.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license, with a good driving record.
- One year college certificate or technical school, six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledgeable of computer software programs.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
