About the role

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves selling company products and services, maintaining sales programs within assigned territories/accounts, and meeting annual sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Sell company products and services
• Maintain sales programs within assigned territory/accounts
• Meet annual sales goals
• Monitor competitive activity and trends
• Knowledge of product features, benefits, and use
• Provide training to employees, as needed
• Initiate trials that will support marketing efforts
• Interpret soil, tissue, and water analysis
• Research and respond to technical inquiries
• Develop proprietary fertilizer formulations
• Publish and distribute periodic summaries of agronomic observations and research
• Maintain and build customer contacts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an agriculturally based program
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the agriculture industry as well as the application of agricultural chemicals
• Certification as a Pest Control Advisor in the State of California (if applicable)

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

The estimated salary range for this role, in Woodland, CA location, is between $60,000.00 - $125,000.00. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

Schedule

Full-time position.
