Position Highlights

Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Department of Anesthesiology
Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time (average of 40 hours/week)
Hours: Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; some off-shifts may be required

Job Description

Exciting opportunity to join Endeavor Health Department of Anesthesiology! CRNAs at Endeavor Health are part of the medical group and function in a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team (ACT). Endeavor Health CRNA’s have an extremely high level of job satisfaction and retention. Patient care includes patients of all ages; neonates through geriatrics. Delivery of care requires appropriate knowledge and skills to assess each age group, interpret age specific data along with skills to appropriately treat (i.e. medications, set-ups, equipment, etc.) every age-specific patient.

The scope of practice of the CRNA’s at Endeavor Health is unlimited. Patient care focuses on all ages, neonate through geriatrics. Case variety is diverse including Neuro, Cardiac, Gen Surg, Thoracic, Urology, Plastics, Ortho, OB, Optho and multiple off site locations including IR, Cath Lab, GI and MRI. CRNAs have the opportunity to be a member on the heart team functioning as a key provider of anesthesia for a variety of specialty cardiac procedure such as CABG, TAVR, ECMO and LVADs. CRNAs also have the opportunity to function as clinical instructors for SRNAs. CRNA’s perform regional anesthesia including Spinals and PNB’s.

Qualifications

  • Licence: Advanced Practicing Nurse License in the state of Illinois.
  • Educational Requirement: Graduate of approved School of Nurse Anesthesia.
  • Certification: Certified or Board eligible for certification as CRNAMaintains re-certification every two years.
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required. PALS certification recommended.
