About the role
The Medical Center provides the new graduate with a wide range of Nurse Anesthesia experience, helping him or her to develop the skills necessary to practice successfully and become more-than-competent in any situation.
This position is also an excellent choice for an experienced CRNA, offering challenging and rewarding opportunities to increase proficiency, gain more knowledge, and experience growth in their practice.
Responsibilities
- Supervised by an excellent staff of 6 Anesthesiologists who are willing to teach new graduates and allow experienced CRNAs the freedom and autonomy they deserve.
- Treatment of a variety of case types including elective, outpatient procedures, complex organ transplants, neurovascular, orthopedic, laparoscopic, and cardiovascular procedures.
- Working with a team of surgeons who are accepting and supportive of CRNA-based anesthesia practices.
Requirements
For new graduates:
- A Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Completion of an accredited CRNA program.
For experienced CRNAs:
- At least 5 years of clinical experience as a CRNA.
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
Qualifications
Both new graduates and experienced CRNAs should have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to patient care.
