CRNA- McLeod Loris

Position Highlights

This role provides general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for scheduled, urgent, and emergent procedures. It offers the full continuum of care, from pre-operative assessment through post-operative follow-up. There's an opportunity to mentor Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs), and new graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply.

Call Schedule

1 day per week & 1 weekend per month

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operative evaluations, including patient history and anesthesia planning
• Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia using current techniques, medications, and technology
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Manage patient care during surgery and ensure safe transition to PACU or appropriate unit
• Respond to airway and life-support emergencies throughout the Medical Center
• Supervise anesthesia technicians and support staff as needed
• Participate in maintaining 24/7 anesthesia coverage through shared responsibilities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program (COA/AANA approved)
• Certified (or eligible) through the NBCRNA
• Eligible for or holds South Carolina RN license and CRNA recognition
• Mets requirements for ongoing recertification
