About the role
Join our CRNA team in our downtown Seattle location, Virginia Mason Medical Center. Provide a safe anesthetic experience for assigned patients under the guidance of the attending surgeon. Manage anesthesia supplies and equipment in the Operating Room, promote teamwork with Operating Room personnel, physicians, and other departments.
Responsibilities
- Meticulously provide safe general and regional anesthetic experiences for assigned patients, working under the guidance of the attending surgeon.
- Demonstrate exceptional expertise in anesthesia administration and management.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to Surgical Standards and Recommended Practices.
- Foster teamwork within the Operating Room and across departments to achieve optimal patient outcomes and efficient surgical operations.
Requirements
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse License and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License.
- Current Certification as a CRNA through the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Able to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice.
- Strong knowledge of current anesthesia practices and procedures.
- Aptitude for detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond appropriately in stressful or emergent situations.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience following training preferred.
- EPIC experience preferred.
