About the role
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens role in a critical access hospital.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of anesthesia cases in OR and OB settings, including Orthopedics, Endoscopy, Podiatry, General Surgery, ENT, and OB (with VBACs but no high-risk OB cases).
- Administer spinals, blocks, and epidurals.
- Provide supervision and medical direction, including prescriptive authority.
- Cover day shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM, with call from 3 PM to 7 AM.
- Respond to call coverage as needed.
- Ensure high-quality, personalized patient care in a community hospital setting.
Requirements
- Board certification as a CRNA.
- Ability to handle varied case loads and perform procedures independently.
- Experience with spinal, epidural, and nerve blocks.
Schedule
- Day shifts: 7 AM to 3 PM.
- On-call coverage: 3 PM to 7 AM.
