About the role
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) providing comprehensive anesthesia care in a pediatric inpatient setting at a level-one academic trauma center.
The position involves managing 3-5 cases daily during day shifts, including pediatric gastrointestinal, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, and dental procedures, under supervision with anesthesiologist oversight.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-operative assessments
- Provide intraoperative anesthesia management
- Deliver post-operative care
- Exercise prescriptive authority as required
Requirements
- Board-certified as a CRNA
- Experience working in a supervision model
- Experience with pediatric anesthesia cases (gastrointestinal, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, dental)
Schedule
- Day shifts only
- No call duties
- 3-5 cases managed daily
Work Environment
- Level-one academic trauma center
- Supportive, on-site environment with available support staff
- Focus on complex pediatric cases (excluding burn, cardiac, or neurological cases)
