CRNA - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) providing comprehensive anesthesia care in a pediatric inpatient setting at a level-one academic trauma center.

The position involves managing 3-5 cases daily during day shifts, including pediatric gastrointestinal, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, and dental procedures, under supervision with anesthesiologist oversight.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative assessments
• Provide intraoperative anesthesia management
• Deliver post-operative care
• Exercise prescriptive authority as required

Requirements

• Board-certified as a CRNA
• Experience working in a supervision model
• Experience with pediatric anesthesia cases (gastrointestinal, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, dental)

Schedule

• Day shifts only
• No call duties
• 3-5 cases managed daily

Work Environment

• Level-one academic trauma center
• Supportive, on-site environment with available support staff
• Focus on complex pediatric cases (excluding burn, cardiac, or neurological cases)
