CRNA - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

The CRNA will provide anesthesia services in a multi-specialty surgical center with 9 ORs, supporting procedures such as cardiac, orthopedic, general surgery, vascular, and trauma cases. Clinicians work under a supervision model with MDs on-site, offering minimal oversight. The role requires a 20-minute response time for call coverage from home and involves day shifts with occasional sporadic assignments primarily for vacation coverage. Credentialing typically takes 60-90 days, with temporary privileges available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Providing anesthesia services across diverse surgical cases
• Responding to on-call situations promptly
• Collaborating with MDs and the anesthesia team
• Maintaining credentialing and compliance standards

Requirements

• Board certification required
• Experience with a variety of surgical procedures and anesthesia techniques
• Proficiency in spinals, epidurals, and nerve blocks
• Ability to work under supervision with minimal oversight
• Prescriptive authority
