Hourly Pay Range $122.60 - $162.41 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. The function of this position includes, but is not limited to: didactic instruction of nurse anesthesia students in applied sciences & evidence-based anesthesia principles, specialty anesthesia topics; committee chair & member for Doctoral scholarly leadership projects (5-8 students through program of study) providing expert evidence-based, clinical anesthetic, research & publication support and guidance; design, direct, & participate in clinical anesthetic simulations in basic, intermediate and crisis management for a variety of patient types, surgical procedures & anesthetics; clinical instruction, oversite as well as patient care at School's international outreach clinical sites; advisor for 10 students throughout their program of study; active participation on School committees: curriculum, admission, policy development & review, and grievance, as well as DePaul School of Nursing doctoral committee. Qualifications License: Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure (APN) in the state of IllinoisEducation: Graduate of approved School of Nurse Anesthesia. Certified or Board eligible for certification as CRNA. Maintains re-certification every two years.Certification: BLS and ACLS certifications required. PALS certification recommended.
