About the Role

This position involves collaborating with pediatric healthcare providers to assess, plan, and administer anesthesia tailored to pediatric patients. Responsibilities include conducting pre-anesthetic evaluations, discussing options with families, and providing age-appropriate education and reassurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer various anesthetic techniques, including general, regional, local, and sedation, as well as nerve blocks.
• Induce, monitor, and adjust anesthesia during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and respond to emergency situations, including airway management and resuscitation.
• Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures, risks, and recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless perioperative care and participate in teaching roles for students and residents.

Requirements

• Master's degree in related field; Doctorate preferred.
• RN licensure, CRNA certification, and additional certifications like BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
