About the Role
Lead Nurse Anesthetist responsible for coordinating anesthesia services under an anesthesiologist for various surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic surgeries and cardiac catheterizations.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students
- Serve as a clinical resource
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
- Two years of related experience (experience cannot replace education)
- Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with a CRNA credential
- Certified in ACLS, BLS, and PALS by the American Heart Association
