About the role

Lead Nurse Anesthetist responsible for coordinating anesthesia services under an anesthesiologist for various surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic surgeries and cardiac catheterizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care
• Act as a clinical resource
• Participate in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
• Two years of related experience (education cannot be substituted)
• Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with CRNA specialty
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association
