About the role

Cleveland Clinic is currently seeking CRNAs for opportunities at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, Ohio (~30 minutes from downtown Cleveland). Hillcrest Hospital, a bustling tertiary care facility and Level 2 Trauma Center, is renowned both regionally and statewide in Ohio for its exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

  • Administers anesthetic care for the purpose of facilitating diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical procedures.
  • Performs and documents a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient.
  • Selects, obtains and administers the anesthetic plan of care, including induction, maintenance and emergence phase anesthesia.
  • Recognizes alterations in physiologic responses to the surgical procedure and/or the anesthetic, takes appropriate action and notifies the responsible physician as indicated.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited CRNA program.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) and a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • Current certification and continued professional certification (CPC) with the National Board of Certification Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) and State Board of Nursing endorsement.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) are required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through American Heart Association (AHA) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) through American Academy of Pediatrics certifications may be required based upon work setting.

Pay

Pay Range
Minimum Annual Salary: $230,000.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $299,000.00

Schedule

We provide flexibility in scheduling, allowing CRNAs to work different shifts. Most CRNAs work either four 10-hour shifts or a combination of two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts per week. We strive to accommodate scheduling preferences if they align with the organization's needs. There is occasional weekend call from home, typically an 8-hour shift once every 4-5 weeks.
