CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Flexi/PRN

About the Role

Provides anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for various surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic surgeries and cardiac catheterizations. Participates in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures
• Assist in complex surgical procedures, including cardio-thoracic surgeries and cardiac catheterizations
• Contribute to the clinical education of nurse anesthesia students

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
• Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with CRNA specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association), and PALS
• Certification in anesthesia and life support certifications are mandatory
