About the role
Provide anesthesia under an anesthesiologist's supervision for various surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic surgeries and cardiac catheterizations.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Monitor patient status during procedures
- Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students
- Ensure patient safety during anesthesia administration
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
- Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with CRNA specialty
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia practices
- Ability to collaborate with medical teams
- Effective patient care skills
