Critical Operations Engineer I (Night)

About the role

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical and mechanical systems within a data center environment during night shifts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency and safety standards are met. Monitor and respond to system alarms, conduct preventive maintenance, and perform repairs as necessary. Assist in managing and improving data center infrastructure systems, including power, cooling, and fire safety. Document all activities accurately and communicate effectively with team members and management.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in the data center industry or similar high-availability environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply technical knowledge effectively.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable with a strong work ethic.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across operations, engineering, and customer teams.
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including power, cooling, battery systems, and fire safety standards.

Pay

$38-$40/hr
