Critical Intervention Specialist

About the role

Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management. Develop a Stabilization Plan and Case Review. Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist. Participate in a hotline rotation to address acute crisis calls. Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in relevant field (MFT, MSW, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, etc.)
• One year of experience working with challenging behaviors
• Experience in mental health or applied behavior analysis field
• Experience supporting individuals with severe mental illness and/or developmental disabilities
• California Driver’s license in good standing and insurance

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT), Social Work (MSW), Counseling (Clinical, School, or Guidance), Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$71,089 + opportunities for quarterly bonuses
