Critical Facilities Technician
What's the Job?
Manage and oversee data center engineering operations, including risk management and mitigation strategies. Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on critical infrastructure systems such as generators, UPS, switchgear, and cooling systems. Coordinate with IT managers and business leaders to optimize capacity, safety, and performance of data center facilities. Lead on-site management of technicians, subcontractors, and vendors ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards. Assist in designing, building, and improving data center facilities and infrastructure projects.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s Degree or Technical (Military/Trade School) Degree with relevant experience preferred
- US Citizenship required
- 2-4 years of experience in data center operations or critical facilities engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
