Critical Care Technician-Med Surg

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, performs routine clinical duties. Will assist in providing care and monitors cardiac monitors for ICU and telemetry patients.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of a Nursing Assistant program, or a nursing student who has successfully completed fundamentals of nursing.
• Experience: Clinical experience in an acute nursing environment preferred.
• Interpersonal skills used to effectively communicate, ability to apply problem solving, ability to cope with high stress situations when dealing with patients, families, physicians, and other staff.
• Current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Basic Arrythmia Course.
