Critical Care Technician, Emergency Room (Full Time)
About the role
An individual who may possess specific education (e.g., EMT-B, CNA, Nurse Aid, Registered Respiratory Therapist, Licensed Practical Nurse) within the critical care areas of the hospital. These individuals work as “unlicensed” healthcare team members that may be assigned patient care tasks within limits to their education and training.
Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations, and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current MT CNA license required, or
- Successfully completed the first two semesters of a nationally accredited nursing program required, or
- Licensed EMT (Basic or higher level) required
- Basic Life Support (AHA Healthcare BLS) required
Pay
Starting wage $20.30/hour. Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience.
