Intermountain Health is seeking a Critical Care Physician to join our established team of intensivists at McKay-Dee Hospital, a state-of-the-art, 324-bed Level II Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center in Ogden, Utah. As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary critical care team, you will provide care for complex, critically ill patients while supporting advanced therapies in a high-acuity ICU setting. The team consists of 12 physicians and 4 APPs dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care through a team-based model.
About the Role
- Provide care in a 32-bed adult mixed medical/surgical ICU serving general surgery, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, and medical patients
- Work within a 24/7 in-house ICU coverage model, including a mix of day and night shifts
- 10.5-hour day shifts, 14.5-hour night shifts
- Collaborate closely with experienced intensivists and advanced practice providers
- Participate in teaching opportunities with family medicine residents, medical students, and APPs throughout the year
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Anesthesiology
- Board certification or board eligibility in Critical Care Medicine
- Current Utah medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
