Responsibilities

  • Provide stabilizing and recovery-oriented healthcare services to critically ill patients.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and tests to accurately assess patient conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Manage complex medical conditions and life-sustaining therapies in the Intensive Care Unit.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, specialists, and support staff.
  • Explain patient conditions, health status, and necessary treatments clearly to patients and their families.
  • Participate in daily rounds and contribute to comprehensive patient care discussions.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and best practices in critical care medicine.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Critical Care
  • Ability to obtain an active medical license in Tennessee and Georgia
  • AHA ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Neuro ICU or Cardiac ICU experience required

7 on / 7 off shifts (7am - 7pm)
