Critical Care Physician

Responsibilities
- Provide stabilizing and recovery-oriented healthcare services to critically ill patients.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and tests to accurately assess patient conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Manage complex medical conditions and life-sustaining therapies in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, specialists, and support staff.
- Explain patient conditions, health status, and necessary treatments clearly to patients and their families.
- Participate in daily rounds and contribute to comprehensive patient care discussions.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and best practices in critical care medicine.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Critical Care
- Ability to obtain an active medical license in Tennessee and Georgia
- AHA ACLS and BLS certifications
- Neuro ICU or Cardiac ICU experience required
