Critical Care Nurse Practitioner - Locum Tenens

About the role

Seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP) for inpatient critical care coverage at a fully staffed ICU in Nevada. Provide ICU-level care for critically ill adult patients during day (0700-1900) and night (1900-0700) shifts, with a preference for night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Intensive monitoring of critically ill adult patients
• Perform advanced procedures
• Manage a patient load of 15-20 cases per day
• Work alongside an in-house MD during the day and on call at night
• Collaborate with nurses, technicians, and ICU staff
• Perform standard ICU procedures with a focus on adult patient care

• Board certification
• Prescriptive authority

Schedule

This is a locum position with ongoing coverage, requiring flexibility for shifts and responsibilities. Shifts are 0700-1900 (day) or 1900-0700 (night).
