Critical Care Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider- Bayview Physicians Group

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care for ICU patients during night shifts
• Perform advanced procedures (central lines, arterial lines, intubation, chest tubes) depending on scope of practice and credentialing
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions in critically ill patients
• Respond to emergencies and code situations (RRTs, Code Blue) within the hospital
• Write orders, progress notes, and communicate effectively with nursing and consulting teams
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and compliance with evidence-based protocols
