Critical Care Inpatient Pharmacist - Evening Shift 7-on/7-off

The Critical Care Pharmacist

• Responsibilities:
  • Provides medication therapy to patients in the Emergency Department (ED), Newborn Intensive Care (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
  • Responds to traumas in the ED and codes throughout the hospital.
  • Performs and oversees medication reconciliation at the patient’s admission transition point from the ED.
  • Attends evening PICU rounds to collaborate with patient care teams.
  • Improves patient care outcomes and safety through clinical recommendations and interventions.
• Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree required.
  • PGY1 residency training at a children’s hospital OR PGY2 pediatric residency trained OR > 2 years of hospital experience.
• Certification/Licensure:
  • RPh Ohio - Registered pharmacist - Ohio State Board of Pharmacy required.
